It started out innocently enough, just a simple exercise jog in the park. Which is Tom’s daily routine to aid in his recovery from a stroke. Little did he know that his stroke had unlocked a hidden powerful ability to hear others' thoughts. He stumbled upon something he never could have anticipated. What may have seemed like an intrusion of other’s privacy turns into a crime.
There's consequences for having this new found power. This story takes a turn and will keep you flipping the pages to find out what’s going to happen next. Tom is faced with making decisions to keep his wife safe. Now he’s on a mission to put an end to the bank crime and bring his wife home safely.
One the Edge is a relatively short book with a good plot. I love the personal talks, interactions, and relationship in Tom’s and Tricia’s marriage. Which gives the story warmth and family dedication despite the robbery involved. It’s a good read and will keep you interested until the story ends.
