Radioactive is the 6th book in the series of The Adventures of Jimmy Crikey. It’s a children’s book packed with magic, adventure, humor, and excitement. Jimmy finds great company and friendship with Annison who is a mermaid. Soon after they are faced with some troubles where they will need magic and a plan to save Emerald Lake. Jimmy’s on a mission with the help of XRU, his smart-aleck talking mobile computer to find a way!
The book is written very understandable for children and teens. It describes the magical occurrences in the book in a way which makes the characters come alive. Most importantly it takes you on the journey with Jimmy and his friends. As they all work together, solving problems, and to do what’s best for Roombelow & Emerald lake.
Radioactive has a great storyline and is colorful. I’m sure any young person who likes the genre of fantasy fiction books will love it. I found myself chuckling and enjoying the adventures, details, and the way each character is portrayed in this book. The Author Wallace Briggs has done a remarkable job at storytelling. A GREAT READ!
